There is simply no way I'm doing all of that just (rivets) to replace a speaker, that's beyond me, I was amazed to have removed the door trim without breaking anything ... and replace it with everything still working!
But can I please just check: In the photo above post, it shows my speaker as an entire unit with a large and a small speaker side-by-side in a single bracket. As I said, the small tweeter is working, but the larger round one is not. Is it safe to say therefore that the amp is not at fault, nor the wiring, as it would be a case of both not working were that the case.
And does anyone know if I can replace just the large round speaker, or would I have to replace the entire (two unit) entity?
