Just to share my experiment
I was looking for a 123 GT tach for a 52 mm to put on my dash pad, as they are near impossible to find I bought a cheap 52 mm tach to see if I could at least make a resemblance of the GT, the result was not that good and the tach performance is useless!
The other thing that I did in order to connect the original (in cluster) coolant temp gauge replaced by Huke Basart electric, as well as a mechanical gauge was to manufacture a T, which turned out way too big to accommodate the probe of the mechanical gauge, so probably will never be used either.

At least is a healthy and entertaining way of spending retired time!

Cheers
