I think the chance of finding one that doesn't crack on removal is slim.
A few months ago I was in the same situation with my 1996 940.
Stone hit it and cracked it all the way across!
I like you wanted the top tint and had a new Saint Gobain windscreen supplied and fitted at my workplace for £195.00 inc vat. Probably if phoned around may of got cheaper. Tried 2 independent Windscreen companies and both around same price, except one not mobile.
The previous windscreen was non genuine stamped PCP or something like that so don't know how good the original Volvo screen compares.
