The euro 4 163bhp is perfectly adequate in my opinion. Yes, I can tell my Dad's has more grunt (his has 185bhp), but mine can certainly shift & it has the 5 cylinder grunt to go with it.
On the motorway, there's plenty of power for overtaking. Its by no means slow for a car that's just shy of 2 tonnes!
