Owner found!
Following a tip from an Amazon-owning van-driver I know a maroon 164 was seen at an industrial estate in Henfield. I investigated some weeks back (nobody around) but upon walking to a nearby older house saw one through the hedge so as I do (!) knocked on the door. Silence so I left a VOC card with my phone number on it.
Move forward to today I considered the owner might be at home today so as I needed a run to check my 164 out after work drove there. This car's owner was there so we had long chats re the merits (or otherwise!) of 164 ownership. He confirmed a previous owner was the guy I worked on it for, all those years ago, but the coincidence - he had just tried to phone me (on my landline) when I knock on his door!
So another confirmed in Sussex - any more being unearthed thus making the county's population four?
