so whilst i still have no heat in the car im looking down another avenue, the thermal resistor behind the little grille, i do think its broken but cannot be sure
watching some videos on removing the climate control unit some mention removing the pen holder? dont have one there is no gap between tunnel console and centre console to remove such panelling.
ill keep digging on how to do this.
