However the engines are not, if the belt got pulled in the engine while it got shredded into million pieces then you may have some internal damage (or not) but nothing too serious. If the timing belt was shifted a tooth or 2 then you will probably get away with no damage.
Yeah, not sure when the aux belt was changed before. I have issues with the fact I went through 2 in 2 days however!

The car worked after the first one went, but not after the second!
