Can't say that, because this is exactly my problem. A CTEK with power supply (for use with VIDA) is around EUR 190.-, and the reviews are not very good. Seems they work just a little bit over the guarantee time and fail directly afterwards.
A new battery is around EUR 100.- tops, and should hold up longer than the two years.
I don't need a battery charger per-se, I already have two of those. What they can't do is supplying constant power for longer working with eg. VIDA...
