Thanks - good points but as you say everyone has their opinion. I think I've narrowed it down to either the Verde All Seasons or the Nokian Weatherproof SUV. They both seem good so it will come down to availability. Equally living down south I may be leaning towards the Pirellis as the 'snow' factor probably isn't so pertinent down here. Pirelli £110 fitted per wheel and Nokian seem to harder to come by in 235/65R17.
