Dam straight went the right route with that and I struggle with why many others allow themselves to get stuck in never ending delivery dates, I did advise another user to go this way last year and a little bit of tinkering with his existing car terms got him into a new car seamlessly and he did well on his existing deal to get out of it a few months earlier iirc.
Anyway glad you had a happy ending and are enjoying your new wheels.
