Default XC 60 D4 FWD auto

I have ran D5 Volvos up until 2017 until I was offered a 14000 mile 2014 Freelander which I purchased because of the milage.
I was running a D5 Volvo manual which had clocked up 130k, as we travelled to Spain twice a year towing 1700 kg I thought it made sense.

I have now got itchy feet and looking to change to another Volvo or Tiguan auto

The D5 engine is remarkable/and so reliable but I did not fancy the D4 2 liitre as any faults had not been established but mainly the low nose weight

I would be interested to find out how owners are getting on with the D4 FWD auto in particular long distance towing (ie to Spain and back) towing a big heavy Coachman 575 vip. I think I am correct in thinking the D5 XC60 is the 2 litre also (nothing like Volo seats for comfort)

Any comments appreciated
Richard
