Sad I know, but the opening credits of George and Mildred (unsure of what series but late, and being repeated at the moment on ITV 3) feature a Volvo estate.
Neighbours have nice cherry red (red interior) Volvo estate, only see from a 3/4 rear view, looks newish so a 245?
Last series for this show was made in 1979.
