Had the same problem back when I had my V70.
I feel that those 'clip type thingies' that formed part of the original design were a bit flimsy.
I did what I thought to be quite a good bodge job with the aid of "Blu-Tak" to hold everything in place. And I lasted until (at least) I sold the car.
