Hi all. Had a bad week for breakdowns. My work van refused to start during the week and had to be left on site and recovered the next day. Decided to use the Amazon for duties for a couple of days. What better classic to use? Anyhow, 2 days after the van breakdown the Amazon's clutch cable decided to snap heading up a busy hill. Recovered for the second time in two days. First time the car let me down actually. Anyway ordering a new cable from Brookhouse today along with a few other items. My question, is it a good idea to lubricate this cable? If so, what would a recommended lube for this be? Ta.
