I leave the fuse taped (with electricians tape) inside the lid of the fuse box so I can re-install at any time. I forgot to put it back in for the last couple of MOT's...no problem
Also worth putting lots of fluid (washer fluid with ant-freeze properties) in the water... if the pipes freeze they can cause leaks...
