Just discovered my carpets were very wet,so took seats out and carpets to find a pool of water mainly on the passenger side,but also wet on drivers side,got my pal to do the hosepipe on it and a steady trickle is coming down from the area of the front of the door-i am thinking its the screen pillars area and water is running down the inside of the pillar trims and going onto the floor.My question is this- i had the screen replaced just over 12 months ago by an national independent through the insurance and they claim a guarantee for the life of the car so long as it's the same owner-can i request they take the screen out and re-bond it or could they say they will just seal it externally with some form of sealer-would that be safe,as it's supposed to be bonded.I just want to know what your thoughts are before i contact them as they are saying on their website theyr'e only fixing key workers cars.
