Thanks,yes i did clean out the old leaves/debris on the scuttle plastic,also they didn't re fit that properly as they left a gap between the bottom trim so water could get in there as well,but that drained out ok,i will remove the inside pillar trims and hosepipe again,that should show it coming in.I also agree regarding removal and re bonding,as a seal with the caulk gun around the edges just seems a bodge job.
