No, my problem is the security plug. The problem is that all pictures and descriptions I found, including the one in my Bosch book, didn't show the tower.
Also, the security plug was always described as a US emissions legal thingy, so trying to push the handle-on-a-stick through this unknown tube wasn't really working as expected.
So you've confirmed I just need to drill this plug our and I should be good to go.
It's funny, I've been aware of this adjuster for decades, I've never seen this spring setup. It's just supposed to be a hole for an allen key. Maybe it's a setup for later models?
