i haven't had my s60 that long but i've been getting 43 mpg fairly consistantly when i fill up with bp fuel. a couple of weeks ago i changed the oil filter and filled up with mobil 1 oil. without changing any driving habits i've got 49mpg again with some consistancy. those figures are from mileage covered and litres of fuel purchased, my cars poverty spec and doesn't have a fuel computer. mobil's damn dear stuff but worth every penny, my advice is look on ebay for the best deals. my previous car was a nissan primera which i owned for ten trouble free years, once out of warranty and once all the servicing vouchers were finished i always serviced the car myself with mobil 1 and always got good fuel economy. the nissan garage used semi synthetic shell helix and i used to get 34 mpg. on mobil1 i got about 38, not bad for a 2.0 petrol.
