I had a look at the washer fluid reservoir earlier this week. On inspection, the leak wasn't coming from the reservoir itself, but from the hoses that attach to it. There's two pumps attached to the reservoir, which in turn have hoses attached to them (One pump is for the window washer nozzles & the other pump on the bumper side of the reservoir is for the headlight jets).

I only managed to DIY fix one of the leaking hoses (For the window nozzles) & it didn't leak a drop (). However, the other hose I needed to fix that was also leaking (Headlight jets) is tucked behind the bumper & I can't see any other way of accessing it, apart from removing the bumper itself. Being honest, I didn't fancy doing it incase I damaged clips or wiring going to the parking sensors etc. So, I've booked it into a local Volvo Specialist to do the job & replace the leaking hoses.

I thought Volvo would have put the hoses in a better place to be honest. Having to take the whole bumper off to fix a leaking hose seems a bit far fetched... Very poor design.

Anyway, it is what it is. Hopefully, the garage sorts it out & I won't have water pouring out underneath the car when I top the washer fluid up!
