Correct- it’s just a micro switch for 2.4lh. Although worth checking, the OP said it passed the test so it should be fine.
And as I understand the system it won’t affect the engine apart from at idle, so it’s not the cause of problems at speed.
Definitely worth cleaning out the throttle body etc if it has tan been done recently.
