Question ETA throttle body

Hi

Tried to help my friend out with his 2007 UK S40 with a 1.8 petrol 4 cylinder engine

We got the TPS code from my OBD scanner

I managed to find a wiring diagram for his car

I suggested he bought a new ETA as its called in the diagram, and then keep it in the boot just in case his failed

However, I have since found out that on the older cars you couldn't simply replace them (ETM)

I don't have access to a proper workshop manual either

Is it possible on this vehicle to buy a new throttle body and fit it ourselves?

I also saw a post about leaving the ignition on position 2 for a few minutes

I cant find any posts about his particular version of S40

He really loves the car but knows what the main dealers are like

Thanks
