I have a 2001 V70 2.4T petrol which has suffered a couple of minor problems.
I had the throttle body converted to contactless to try and alleviate a cutout problem which didn't improve after refitting. The battery is kaput, but once jumpstarted, she ticks over like a dream. Problem here is, she will not rev over 4000rpm. She is not MOT'ed, has a dent in the bonnet thanks to a neighbours kids football!
Apart from that, she is as sound as a pound. New pattern exhaust fitted 5 years ago, but has sat for the last three on my drive. Interior is cream leather with the dog net in the rear seat unit. Factory fit stereo.
I was quoted £200 to get her roadworthy from a Volvo indy a few years back, but as an auto, could not tow her there to get the work done.
Dropped the price down to £300 but no one wants her.
I really don't want to scrap her unless I have to as she's been a diamond to drive up until things started to go wrong. I'd rather she become a 'donor'!!!
General condition is superb.
Who wants what and for how much?
