Personally I’m happy with the placement and can normally tell if I’m in advanced due to the stiffer ride over bumpy road surfaces, my ears normally pick it up due to an increased noise.
Each to their own and i’m Interested to see where this goes.
Have you considered/tested the brightness/colours of the LEDS at night?
Maybe a test run at night with something rigged up to 12v direct may help.
Viable in sunlight but not too bright at night and pretty much in you eyeline - what are your thoughts?
