For the rear axle the amazon axle is not going to stand that power. A 240 axle would be a better bet or a Ford explorer axle could also be used

Thanks for the recommendation for the rear axle. The 240 looks like a good option. I see that it has a LSD which is what I wanted. Anything in particular I should look out for when sourcing one?

The Jag engine is 70cm wide so I will need to cut the inner face of the chassis rail off and then fabricate a new section to fit onto the outer part of the rail. The original Volvo crossmember is too tall and the wrong shape; the Jag engine is flat across the bottom so the curved top section of the Volvo crossmember is all wrong.

The overall height of the Jag engine means that I will need a crossmember that is 50mm tall so it looks like I am going to have to construct a new suspension system much like 'Iamtherealone' did. I would rather not given all the geometry issues that will need resolving, so open to ideas if you have any alternative suggestions?
