Have to agree, the hole cutter idea is a touch of genuis Mike. Applicable to all bushes methinks.
Our little local DIY shop sells a SilverLine set of hole cutters in a selection of sizes for something under £10. Perhaps not the best quality, but its not as if we're cutting through EN59B with them! Should do fine on the rubber.
I assume this article will go into the technical archive?
