As to why the A/C pressure sensor would cause the fan to run, if the CCM doesn't get a normal reading from the sensor, in case the pressure is high, it runs the fan to lower the condenser temperature and eliminate the risk of probable A/C overheating.
However in this case it should also cut the compressor. Does the compressor engage and A/C work?
Compressor also doesn't engage when evaporator temperature is below 6C to avoid it freezing so not sure what's the weather like in your area.
