Default XC new owner - towball missing plus sat nav lost locationip

Hi New to site today after buying a 2010 60 plate XC90 yesterday. Bought to replace my wifes 07 Discovery which has a plague of electronic faults [common apparently]. Intent to tow our tourer as I want to sell my 08 RR vogue and get a runabout instead....anyway..Towbar was fitted looks new and unused...Volvo 13 pin and push in type towball..dealer reckoned people forget about these as if theyre not a tower that put them in shed or garage often along with load covers ...grr. Anyone know of any such half forgotten items or where I could get one and approx cost?... Loving the xc90 what a dream way better than LR3 and hard to say but and my RR.

On the sat nav topic , My sat nav showed its location in Atlantic ocean north of Barnstaple....now heres the coincidence, I had a Grand Espace a few years ago that was lost in same area...perhaps its a virtual bermuda triangle for sat navs. Seen lots of threads and tales of woe about malfunctioning sat navs... However i decided to have a poke around and on rear of Sat nav disck box under passenger seat I found a wire detacthed from a blue connector on rear..the car had been superbly valetted and im guessing it got dislodged during carpet cleaning. Re-inserted wire...presto all good it now knows its in Pembroke with 7 GPS signals instead of the zero it was showing. So worth checking wire connections before going straight down a potentially very expensive dealer route. My Espace dealer was making clucking sounds accompanied by shaking of heads when he looked at my espace system and said this looks an expensive fix...never happened as my wife wrote car off shortly after.
Anyway great to be here and seeing lots of interesting stuff from folk who know a damn site more about Volvo than me...so Ill now sit back read and learn. Thanks again
Steve
