Did it go tight as you were fitting it or did you over do it after you screwed it in ? .
Hopefully the second if so should get away without too much trouble .
large flat blade screwdriver with the edges ground to a sharp edge to bite into the broken part..
then a magnet to clean out any small bits that are on the piston.
Then use a torque wrench next time.
