Are you reading the bit about the IRS differential? Just had a look through my HBoF (albeit for the 7xx) and the IRS diff doesn't appear to have a filler or level plug, can't find any reference to it in the text either.
However, in the section about the live rear axle, it does refer to the level plug and i'm sure i've seen a reference to the drain plug too.
