One thing to check is that the windscreen bonding has not failed, push the screen at the top from the inside, if there is any movement the screen will need removing & resealing, Volvo do do this FOC (providing an original Volvo screen) even on cars of this age as its a common fault, obviously if there is any sign of water ingress check that all the electronics are working as they should. Had mine done last year FOC due to this. Take it on a good long run to make sure its up to temperature, any jerkiness in gear changes or jolts moving from park to reverse or drive allow for (at least) gearbox oil change or valve body replacement, Other wise a good capable car.
