We'll, just goes to show how educational this forum is.
Under advice from Brookhouse, I stuck my Volvo badge to the front apron of the car with "silicon" (lol) sealant.
I also came to the conclusion that I would need to clean/check behind the stone guard annually, which makes me wonder it's worth putting them on in the first place. I think they look good, but wonder if they acty might cause more problems than they solve.
