Great stuff James! I greased mine the other after reading several dramas of broken hinges on here. Mine were 'bending/straining' on 'lifting/lowering' , not something I'd noticed...... A bit of spray grease and the bonnet literally 'flies' up.
To anyone else out there who has not lubricated yours, get it done
