As far as I know you can’t fix the rising oil level issue. You can only fix the point at which the engine management light comes on.
When I put 5.7L in, after say 10 months I would have a few hundred millilitres additional build up in oil level due to DPF regen, and the engine management light would then come on. Let’s say for arguments sake this happened was at 5.10L
Hence, when I just added 5.5L and still had the few hundred millilitres additional build up after 10 months motoring the level got to 5.8L and the engine management light did not come on.
