95 ron e10 t6/t8
Off to France, although i’ll be largely aiming to fill up with electrons, does anyone have any experience of running E10 (10% bio ethanol unleaded) in a T6/T8?
Can’t get it in the UK yet, but believe all cars in Europe have had to be compatible since 2002 and it’s widely sold (and cheaper than standard E5) in France. I like the ethos of trying it, my line of work being emissions reduction - hence T8, but I’m also a bit cautious. I’ve heard about a typical 3% loss of efficiency, and the 320bhp T6/T8 engine is very highly tuned for its size, so is likely to reveal any flaws more than a cooking 1.2!
