That wasn't actually an ebay link, it's a direct link to the seller so is usually cheaper than buying from their ebay shop.
Resistors aren't polarity conscious, no.
I just hope someone has done their maths correctly because those resistors only add about 3mA into the circuit and an extra 40mW of power - not what a ballast resistor would usually be. A 470 Ohm resistor would add about 30mA of current and about 400mW which might be more like it.
