ah right that makes sense :-) belts were expensive back on the 70's relatively more expensive that 450 Euros today ...
I would not be surprised if there were multiple faults with the CVT unless an enthusiast owned it and kept it going properly ..but it has to be driven first to see the state of affairs ...
