XC70, another 500 miles
After the serpentine belt snapping and the RAC recovery followed by Sheffield and Meredith fixing it in recorded time for a sensible cost I’m pleased to report that all is seemingly well. Just back from 500 miles plus in the car loaded with three adults bags and three dogs. It’s done 40 mpg at some speed and never missed a beat. Mileage is well past 180,000 now and the RAC man and Sheffield and Meredith both said it’s good for twice what it’s got.
Nice to know the belt caused no other issues when ifpt snapped and the old bus keeps going.
