Hey, the great thing about P1800 and Amazon Estate wheels is they're half an inch wider, so you can put 195 65 15 tyres on them really well.

That way, you're reassured there's no change to offset - that's really important - as well as back space and forward face; all that puts additional forces on suspension components and bearings if you go to a bigger wheel.

These old cars were designed to have a good amount of flex in the tyres in hard cornering unlike modern cars with low profile tyres. You look at pictures of old cars cornering hard with low profile tryes and you'll see the inner edges of the tyres making no contact with the tarmac.

I usually have to shut up at this point because so many have gone down the route of wide wheels and low profile tyres often on misinformation about improving performance. Yes, they look great but for me, it's a no.

However, 195 65 15's on a 4.5J rim gives many benefits.
