That’s the hardest part, getting the guilty party to part with their cash.
Someone ran into the back of my wife’s car last year and the third party said she would pay. An estimate was obtained and sent, it was £350 and the third party decided that was too expensive so she put it through her insurance. My wife now has to own up to a non fault claim for the next 5 years…
