It took a while for the repair kit to come from France. I mounted it yesterday with a whiff of silicone on the housing side since I wasn't convinced I would get the membrane to seal properly without a proper press setup. Tabs on the cover are actually a little tricky to bend and still keep it tight, especially the one in the hole on the back side.
At this point I can't say much about succeeding, because the filter was obviously full of air. A little test with compressed air prior to installing the housing on the car and a shortish test drive were promising. But then again...
Do I need vida/dice to get the service light reset? I tried with the most common trip button and key combinations and then some.
