LED are not the answer to all the problems of the world.
The posts above show how replacing filaments by LED can disturb balances of even, cruise control.
And using LED in cars not designed for LED might not be legal. That is probably why [some] retaile LED for cars are marked for off road use. And there is a letter somewhere upstairs from a Govt department agaist the legality.
