I'm not sure if you were aware but when my daughter graduated we bought her a MX5 MK1.
Great car but lacking in the zoom zoom quarter.
So I turbocharged it using a TD04 as the basis.
Full respray, coilovers, hard top sprayed gloss black, new hood, Bentley stitched tombstones in black heated leather
Great car made even better until a guy in a scooter cut straight across my path. Out of his tree, I thought I'd killed him.
Anyway insurance paid out £3600 and I kept the car. Breaking it as its CAT C and I could get one without that moniker for less.
