If you have 5cyl Volvo engine, the DPF regen will not happen unless you are lucky and reach pre-defined soot threshold under these 30mins:

4-cyl Volvo VEA engines, however, get rid of dpf soot much sooner even at moderate higway speeds (with so-called passive regeneration).
