Hi all,
My '02 D5 has developed an occasional misfire that's becoming less occasional... It started by just having a 'hickup' when on cruise control at 60mph, where the car missed a beat, the dash lit up (as it restarted) and it cruise control got disabled for the remainder of the journey. This issue is becoming more pronounced now, with it happening 2 or 3 times in a 20 mile journey. The car runs fine the rest of the time, but over the last few days, the issue has happened through 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears under light and heavy load. I have changed the fuel filter, put redex through the tank and cleaned the air filter.

The car has done 180k and had the injectors replaced around 110k (due to the known fault with the 02 ones). The issue started approximately 3 months/2000 miles ago.

Has anyone had this issue and found a remedy? It's very unsettling when you go to pull away and you lose power.

I should also add that there are no error messages in the computer either before nor after the misfire.
