I know this used to be discussed a lot but it doesnt seem to get discussed so much now.
I am in remotest Cumbria and was considering a Rica downloader remap or the racechip tuning box and had a few questions I hoped could be answered. The Polestar is too expensive as it only takes me to D5 levels even though it is the same mechanically.

Will the ecu need removing or can rica crack it remotely?
is the rica still a bit aggressive on other components as early posts suggested?
What is the max torque the dmf and manual gearbox can take?

Just looking for overtaking, important with the tourists and driving dead around here.

Any assistance appreciated
