I can imagine, all other things like accident/theft being equal, petey's cars being prominent among the million mile club with a service regime like that.

FWIW I think the flush can be a worthwhile thing, provided it's used at every service from day one (or pretty close, first few years of the car's life). On something older that has just had "regular" servicing it's more of a lottery, and it's down to personal choice/perception of risk Vs reward, whether it's going to benefit/cause a problem and whether the engine's life would be any shorter with just regular good quality oil changes.

For my money, I prefer to just use a good oil/filter regularly & leave any further cleaning for if/when I have physical access to that part of the engine.
