I would go with the belt as well (google up on google images)
Otherwise I would guess it got a leak somehow ? (also check the small wire to the clutch, it's secured properly) Yours being a D5 when removing the belt spin the compressor pulley by hand, see if it's smooth or dry/makes noise, this guy can go bad and seize
