The trailer was originally custom built for transporting a tandem, with or without sidecar attached, and or several solo bicycles. These were secured in adjustable channels which bolted to the chassis.
It has indespension suspension units and Mini 10" wheels.
To increase its usefulness, we commissioned a demountable wooden body 73" (1.85M) long by 18" (0.45M) deep by 46" (1.17M) wide complete with lid. The LOA of the trailer is 126" (3.20M) and the WOA is 59" (1.50M).
The trailer is equipped with lights but is unbraked. While serviceable, the woodwork is weathered through storage outdoors and the metalwork would benefit from a coat of black Hammerite. A cautious person might also wish to renew the tyres and check the wheel bearings in the interests of safety and reliability at an early opportunity. When last in service it towed very well - straight and true.
The trailer is located close to junctions 23 and 24 of the M1 in North Leicestershire and could be towed away. Please PM me if interested.
