Hi Stav4187,

Welcome to the forum. The better place for the question would be one level up but we all start somewhere

I have just recently brought a second hand V40 as my daily ride and I have been through the same set of questions as you. The V40 is a great car that does not seem to suffer from particular set of faults. Additional to the standard buying a car checks, I would check that everything electrical works. This can take forever, dump the online price list to make sure you have covered everything in any packs. Like all modern cars some of the electrics can be expensive to repair outside of warrenty.

Upgrading to fit a Nav could be done if you car has already has the right bits, https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showp...84&postcount=4 but it will be expensive and IMHO it is not as good as later phone based navs. Apple car play isn't available on the V40 and is unlikely to be added in future.

Have fun with it, a fab little motor.
